LNG Adamawa suffered serious damages due to a fire in the engine room. Scheldepoort received the contract for the complete repairs of the engine room including the cleaning, the electric cabling and isolation work. Scheldepoort capacity to repair tankers in non gasfree condition once more proved to be of great value.
She was the first LNG tanker under vapours at Scheldepoort.
